Korba. A car parked outside the house in Gajra Basti under Bankimongra police station in the district was set on fire by two drug addicts. After the fire, the car owner came out of the house after hearing the explosion in the engine, seeing which both the drug addicts started running away. They were caught and handed over to the police. The incident of arson has been captured in CCTV cameras. The front part of the car has been badly burnt due to the fire.
According to vehicle owner Suresh Kumar, the entire family was sleeping inside the house after having dinner at night. Suddenly when he heard the sound of explosion, he came out and saw that the car was on fire. Both the youths had come on a bike, as soon as they saw the car owner, they left the bike and started running away. Both the accused were somehow caught and handed over to the police.
