Nadda said this on politics in Sunder Nagar
Mandi: Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda said on Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the culture of politics in the country. Inaugurating the party’s newly constructed district office in Sunder Nagar, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, Nadda highlighted the transformative impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the political landscape in India.
Nadda said, “As far as elections are concerned, I would like to discuss some things with you. PM Modi has changed the culture of politics in India.”
Emphasizing the need to understand this change, he said that public perception towards elections has evolved.
“The media, journalists and everyone else were saying that out of the five states, BJP can win in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh has no chance and the party will somehow manage to form the government in Rajasthan. But I would like to tell you that citizen India has started understanding and looking at elections differently, we need to understand this,” Nadda said.
Nadda urged party members to recognize that India’s citizens are eager to embrace the BJP.
Nadda said, “When you go to the elections once again in 2024, I would like to tell you that the public is waiting for you.”
He compared the party’s approach with that of the Congress and accused them of cheating and misleading the people. On the contrary, he praised PM Modi for consistently serving the country with sincerity.
“You need to believe that they are ready to bless you. The reason for this is that Congress has also cheated the people, it has always misled them, it has always tried to trick them whereas PM Modi has always served them with a true heart.” He added.
The BJP chief held a mega road show in Sunder Nagar today. This road show was organized from Jawahar Park to PWD Rest House in Mandi. A huge crowd of supporters accompanied Nadda, dancing and cheering his convoy.
Earlier today, Nadda and Union Minister Anurag Thakur attended the felicitation ceremony at the Municipal Council grounds in Himachal’s Bilaspur.
According to party sources, Nadda will participate in BJP’s Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra later today, which PM Modi will join through videoconferencing.
