Tel Aviv: Four Palestinians have been killed in overnight air strikes on the Nour Shams camp near the West Bank town of Tulkarem, media reported.
The attacks came after Israeli soldiers operating in the area were attacked with explosive devices, according to media reports, The Times of Israel reported.
Channel 12 news said that some of those killed were wanted terrorists.
The Palestinian Authority’s official Wafa news agency said several others were injured.
Additionally, Wafa reports that a man injured in a drone strike in Jenin last week has succumbed to his wounds, The Times of Israel reported.
The attack came as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it was operating in Jenin and a nearby refugee camp to detain Palestinians wanted on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities.
The attack targeted Palestinians, who threw explosive devices toward IDF soldiers conducting an arrest raid in the West Bank city of Jenin on Tuesday morning, according to the army and Palestinian officials.
