4 died in bus-tractor collision in Anantapur

Anantapur: Four people were killed in a traffic accident when a private bus collided with a tractor laden with rice flour sacks on Carretera National 44 near Kallur village in Anantapur district on Saturday, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Chinna Thipaiah, Sriramulu, Nagarjuna and Srinivasulu. The son is a resident of Gooty Mandal of Anantapur district.

The collision was so severe that the front part of the bus was completely damaged and sacks of rice flour were scattered on the road.

Police have launched an additional investigation to analyze the circumstances surrounding the incident and determine the factors that led to the fatal collision on the competitive Carretera National.
