Infiltration attempt failed in Akhnoor sector, one terrorist killed

Jammu: A militant died on Saturday after troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) thwarted an attempt to infiltrate into the Frontera International (IB) in the Akhnoor sector of J&K.

The authorities said that a militant infiltrator was killed in the area of Khour in the Akhnoor sector in the IB in Jammu when the alerted BSF troops foiled an infiltration attempt.

They saw militants dragging the body of the murdered militant back to the other side of the IB, said the authorities.
