MP government’s e-Municipality portal hacked, data of more than 400 cities leaked

Bhopal: Government-run portal e-Municipality has come under the grip of cyber attack. Fortunately, the server was shut down in time. The attackers have corrupted the complete data of all 413 cities of the state. But offline data (backed up to tape every three days) is safe.

The e-Nagar-Nagar portal has been closed for three days. Department officials said that portal services will be resumed by Tuesday. He also said that all security certifications were up to date.
