Chennai: Four arrested in murder of teenager

Chennai: Two days after R Seenu (19) was found dead on the railway track in Pulianthope, police have arrested four people for his murder.

Seenu was a resident of Murti Nagar in Pulianthope. Investigation revealed that he was called by his friends for conversation and never returned home.

The police recovered a knife and beer bottles from his body, registered a case of murder and arrested four people from Seenu’s neighborhood – S Surya (24), M Manikandan (23), S Manikandan (20) and A Sam (19). ) Arrested him.

It was found that Surya’s relative Giri had died due to drug overdose. Seenu and Giri were friends and Surya suspected that Seenu had influenced him.

When Seenu does not attend Giri’s funeral, an angry Surya plots to murder him.

All four people were produced before a magistrate and sent to judicial custody.

Police have started searching for two more suspects.
