Class 12 student injured after fight in Delhi school
According to Delhi Police, a Class 12 student tragically died after succumbing to the intruders during an argument with another student and a group of people on Saturday. The incident came to light on December 15 when the 17-year-old got into a fight with a fellow student after returning home from school. The confrontation escalated when another student along with others allegedly attacked him, causing injuries on his head and face. Although according to police announcements, the victim received first aid at a nearby clinic, no medico-legal case was initiated, or both parties resolved the matter amicably. Investigation revealed that there was a verbal altercation between the two students on December 12, following which the attack took place on December 15 in Block D area of Bhajanpura. Despite sustaining facial and head injuries, the victim returned to his home after first aid. The sad thing is that the next morning the victim’s health deteriorated due to which she became unconscious. Later, he was shifted to Hospital GTB in emergency condition, from where he was shifted to Hospital RML. On 23 December at 22:30, Hospital RML gave the sad news of the death of the student during treatment. In response to the unfolding tragedy, a case of assault under relevant sections of the IPC was registered at the Bhajanpura Police Commissionerate based on the complaint of the child’s father.
