Police constable dies after throat cut by kite string
Mumbai: Sameer Jadhav (37), a police constable of Dindoshi police station, tragically lost his life on Sunday afternoon when his throat was cut by the kite flying string.

According to the police, constable Jadhav attached to Dindoshi police station lived in Worli BBD Chawl. Around 3:30 pm on Sunday, when he was returning home on his motorcycle after completing his duty, the kite string cut around his neck at Vakola Bridge in Santa Cruz East, causing him to fall.
Kherwadi police (beat marshal) immediately reached the spot and took him to Sion hospital. After investigation, doctors declared him dead.
