BEIRUT: Iranian state media said an Israeli airstrike killed a high-ranking Iranian general in a Damascus neighborhood on Monday.
The killing of Razi Mousavi, a longtime adviser to the Iranian paramilitary Revolutionary Guard in Syria, comes as clashes between Hezbollah and Israel on the Lebanon-Israel border escalate and the Israel-Hamas war escalates a territorial dispute with Iran.
