Ram temple complex in Ayodhya will be decorated with flowers from Bhopal

Bhopal : Bougainvillea flowers from a nursery in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, will be used to decorate the Ram temple complex in Ayodhya ahead of the consecration ceremony.

Ramkumar Rathod, owner of Bhopal-based Nisarg Nursery, said his facility has received orders for flowers and he has already sent two consignments of 10,000 flowers to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.

More than one lakh devotees are expected to visit Ayodhya on the occasion of ‘Pran Pratistha’ (consecration) of Lord Ram on January 22.

Rathod said, “We have received orders to provide five-six types of flowers from Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. These include different colors of bougainvillea including white, orange, red and yellow.”

The flowers of these species bloom in every season. He said, they do not require much care and can be maintained even with less water.

The nursery owned by the Rathod family won the order to supply flowers after a bidding process for tree plantation in the Ram Mandir complex and its corridors.

Temporary tents set up for foreign pilgrims. The consecration of the much awaited Ram temple is to take place on January 22, preparations for which are going on in full swing.

In fact, the Uttar Pradesh government is setting up contemporary tent cities on the banks of the Saryu river in Ayodhya to prepare for the expected surge in international tourists ahead of the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple on January 22.
