Firozpur: 58 students of Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University, Firozpur, a prestigious technical institute of Punjab Government, got placement in multinational companies. SBSTU is proving to be a boon for the people and students of this border area and the placement department of the campus is working for the bright future of the students by providing campus placements to its students. He informed that placement drive was organized in the campus in December 2023 and for the first time two of our students Abhishek Kumar and Navneet Kumar were selected as trainees in DRDO, India in December 2023, which is a great achievement for the university. . Additionally, two B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) students have recently been placed at Ion Exchange India Hyderabad on an annual package of Rs 4 lakh and two B.Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering) students have been placed at Advanced Technologies Company Is. Rs 3 lakh on annual package. Registrar Arneja said that the students of various courses of the university will be given V.V.D.N. Technologies (03 Students), Byjus (01 Student), Accenture (01 Student), T&M Services (01 Student), Global Logistics (01 Student), Honest Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (06 Students), International Tractors Ltd.-Sonalika Tractors ( 01 student(s), Kuspider(33 students as trainee), Ocean Technology Pvt. Ltd. (04 students) and SAEL (07 students) sessions held in August 2023-December 2023 at an annual package of Rs 2.8 to 6 lakh. Many well-known multinational enterprises like University, Yescaller, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Reliance Jio, Inter National Tractor Limited, Sonalika Tractors, Padmani VNS, Nestle, Sopra Steria, Hoping Minds Byuse, QSpider, etc. The campus is employing its students by organizing placement drives by inviting campus CDC. SAIL has conducted placement drives of more than 10 companies to recruit students for the August 2023-December 2023 session and has promised to continue similar efforts in the future.
