Agriculture Minister Ram Vichar Netam took charge
Raipur. Tribal Welfare, Agricultural Development and Farmers Welfare Minister Ramvichar Netam took charge at the ministry on Monday after performing formal puja. During this, along with his family members, Agriculture Ministry Secretary Kamalpreet Singh and top officials of Tribal Welfare Department and Agriculture Department were present. Minister Netam said on this occasion that with the blessings of Mother Mahamaya, I have assumed charge today. He further said that our Chhattisgarh will also contribute towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve of ‘Developed India’.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, our ministry will work as an important link in the development of farmers, tribal class, scheduled caste class, backward class minority class of Chhattisgarh. Our Annadata farmers of the state will contribute their 100 percent towards the prosperity of all the citizens and the prosperity of Chhattisgarh. We will work with determination to live up to the expectations of the public. It is noteworthy that from 2003 to 2013, Shri Netam has held the responsibility of departments like Tribal Development, Revenue, Home Jail, Higher Education, Panchayat and Rural Development, Water Resources.
