Assam: Robbers enter retired teacher’s house, steal valuables
Mangaldai: A robbery incident left a Jubilee master shocked by his family. The incident happened when all the people were found outside their house.

This robot happened at the residence of jubilee player Tilak Deka living in Gadhiyapara area of Mangaldai. He mentioned that during the robbery the robbers made away with Rs 75,000 in cash, gold jewellery, silk garments and other valuables worth around Rs 4 lakh.
After informing the local police about what happened, Mukut Kakati, officer-in-charge of Mangaldai commissariat, visited the residence and assessed the incident. Investigation has been started regarding the incident.
Recently, a shocking incident of robbery took place in West Khasi Hills (WKH) district of Meghalaya, where a school director was murdered and another assistant teacher was brutally beaten. When WKH Superintendent of Police (SP) Bikram D Marak was asked about the matter, he expressed grief over the incident which took place while returning to school from State Bank of India, Nongstoin branch. “The incident took place at Minniyar village under the jurisdiction of police commissionerate of Nongstoin. They were identified as Tengton R Sangma (50) of Rangshapara village, Meghalaya and Surya Kumar Chhetri (50) of Dakuapara village, Boko, Assam. Rangshapara Secondary School Director Tangton R Sangma and Surya Kumar Chhetri are assistant professors of the same school”, said SP Bikram D. Marak.
According to SP Marak, both of them had come to the secondary school in Rangshapara on a Hero Honda Glamor (AS 25E 1324) bicycle to withdraw money for some scholarships of the school.
