Government of India approves 7 new Khelo India Centers in Chhattisgarh

Raipur. Today Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur approved 7 new Khelo India Centres. Expressing happiness over this, Sports Minister Tankram Verma thanked the Union Sports Minister. Sports Secretary Himshikhar Gupta expressed happiness on this occasion.

Sports Director Shweta Srivastava Sinha said that on the proposal of Sports Directorate, approval for 24 Khelo India Centers of different sports disciplines in 24 districts was previously received, which is being implemented.

In the same sequence, today the Khelo India Centers of Archery in Kondagaon district, Football in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, Kabaddi in Gaurela Pendra Marwahi, Football in Sakti, Kabaddi in Kabirdham, Badminton in Korea and Kabaddi in Manendragarh Bharatpur-Chirmiri district got approval from the Government of India. Has been received. In this way, arrangements for training of players have now been ensured in 31 districts of the state.
