Hearing a case related to the ammonia gas leak that rushed more than 50 Ennore residents to hospitals, the tribunal constituted by Justice Pushpa Satyanarayana and member expert Satyagopal Korlapati on Monday expressed its dissatisfaction and observed that the report submitted Is. The Maritime Board of Tamil Nadu and DISH are similar to the information presented by the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB).
Ordering the agencies to submit fresh reports, the tribunal published the case on 6 February.
Meanwhile, residents of Ennore continued their protest against the fertilizer plant Coromandel International Limited, where the gas leak occurred at midnight on December 26.
Residents demanded permanent closure of the plant despite authorities shutting it down temporarily following the gas leak incident.
