There are 30 big sweet establishments in the city which are located in Civil Lines, DD Puram, Rajendra Nagar, Stadium Road, Shyamganj, Chowki Chauraha, Pilibhit Bypass and Kohadapeer. There are a hundred middle class shops and more than 300 shops on the streets.

On any special day, national festival or occasion, laddus are sold the most. The prestige of the idol of Ramlala is also a matter of faith for the people. According to Rajendra Gupta, Provincial General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Industry Trade Board, the entire city will be filled with joy on January 22. In such a situation, all the organizations, from common people to the temple management, remained busy since morning. We will sweeten each other’s mouth by feeding them laddus. Sweets will also be distributed to the passersby. Therefore, the sweets business will increase. The estimated business from 16th to 22nd January is around Rs 10 crore.
Many programs will be held in Amla
On January 22, several programs will be organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in the city to commemorate the consecration ceremony of the idol of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya. Their preparations have started. A meeting regarding this was held at Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College on Tuesday. In the meeting, district campaigner Dharmendra Kumar said that till January 15, the workers will go door-to-door and distribute the worshiped Akshat that came from Ayodhya. A bike rally will be taken out on January 12 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. On January 14, women will take out Kalash Yatra.
There will be a huge religious meeting on January 19 in the grounds of Shri Subhash Inter College. On the occasion of Pran Pratistha, the main road of the city will be decorated in a grand manner. There will be bhajan evenings and kirtans along with recitation of Shri Ramcharit Manas, Hanuman Chalisa in monasteries and temples. He appealed to hoist religious flags on homes and celebrate Diwali on 22 January. During this, Gauravit Khandelwal, Ankur Aggarwal, Dharamveer, Suresh, Vipin Singh, Durgesh Saxena etc. were present.
