Ganja worth lakhs was sold near old age home, 2 youths including woman arrested
Raipur. In the capital, the police have arrested two youths including a woman for smuggling ganja worth lakhs from near an old age home in Telibandha police station area. While disclosing the matter, the police have said that information was received from the informers that some persons are keeping ganja with them near the old age ashram located at Labhandi under Telibandha police station area and are looking for a customer to sell it.
On which Additional Superintendent of Police City Lakhan Patle and City Superintendent of Police Civil Line Manoj Dhruv verified the information and directed police station incharge Telibandha to catch the accused red handed with ganja.
On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of police station in-charge Telibandha, the team of police station Telibandha went to the said place, identified and arrested the persons of the description described by the informer. During interrogation, the persons revealed their names to be Shubham Sahu alias China, Dilip Nishad and Sharda Bablani resident of Telibandha Raipur. When the team members searched the sack kept with them, it was found that ganja was kept in the sack. On which the three accused were arrested and a total of 20 kg of Ganja Jumla worth approximately Rs 2,00,000/- was seized from their possession and action was taken against the accused by registering crime number 21/2024 under Section 20B Narcotics Act in Police Station Telibandha.

- Shubham Sahu alias China, father Raju Sahu, age 23 years, resident of Lodhipara Chowk, near Indian Bank, Police Station Civil Line, Raipur.
- Dilip Nishad, father Ramprasad Nishad, age 32 years, resident of Bramhadev Nagar, Labhandi police station, Telibandha, Raipur.
- Sharda Bablani, husband Rakesh alias Raki Bablani, age 27 years, resident of BSDP Colony Block No. A/30 Suraj Nagar Labhandi Police Station Telibandha Raipur.
