Urban body placement workers will protest, know the reason
Raipur. Chhattisgarh State President of Municipal Body Placement Employees Federation, Sanjay Ade said that for the last five years, Chhattisgarh Municipal Body Placement Employees Federation organized a sit-in protest demanding regularization against the promises of the then Congress government, but the Congress government Did not regularize them. Now that there has been a change in power, today Chhattisgarh Municipal Body Placement Employees Federation called a state level meeting at the divisional level in Bilaspur. In the meeting, a special discussion was held about stopping the contract system and regularizing the placement employees within a fixed period.
Besides, remembering the broken promises of the Congress government, the BJP’s manifesto also discussed the promise of identifying and regularizing the placement employees working in urban bodies within 100 days. State President of Chhattisgarh Municipal Placement Employees Federation, Sanjay Ede said that we demonstrated a lot against the broken promises of the Congress government. If the BJP government also does not regularize us within 100 days, then 25 thousand Municipal Corporation placement employees of the state will stage a massive protest in Raipur. In the said meeting, State President of the Federation Sanjay Ede, Vice President Khemulal Nishad, Divisional President Kaushalendra Singh Rana, Rahul Medhe, Saurabh Yadav and District President Tameshwar Sahu, Vikas Sharma, Shakti Vel, Pawan Tamrakar etc., District President and Body President and officials were present.
The main demands of the employees federation are as follows –
- By ending the placement/contract system from all the urban bodies, placement employees should be adjusted in the urban bodies and job security should be provided till the age of 62 years.
