Collective inspiration of Jobi College students on Youth Day
Raigarh. On Youth Day, a one-day grand function organized by the National Service Scheme Unit of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Government College, Jobi, imbued with the consciousness of ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’, was dedicated to the upliftment and prosperity of the youth.
The opening moments of the program saw the live telecast of the Hon’ble Prime Minister on the 27th National Youth Festival. Thereafter, remembering Swami Vivekananda, the students were felicitated with self-made flower bunches. During this time, while stating the objective of establishing Raseos in colleges and motivating them to learn enthusiastically by staying in the camps run in rural areas, Principal Shri Ravindra Thawait, before becoming a Swami, narrated the Bhagwat discussion between Shri Narendra and Guru Shri Ram Krishna Paramhansa along with Swami Vivekananda. Highlighted the important points of world renowned fame. At this hour, guest Shri O.P. Patel, by expounding on the principles of Swamiji, pointed the students towards a new approach for active participation in the service of the nation. Guest Mr. Santosh Dewangan appealed to them to get involved in social and political activities in an appeal to awaken them for the prosperity of young India. In his address, public representative Shri Ramdhar Gabel called India the world guru and the land of sages and gave mythological quotes for equality and culture.
In ascending order, Raseo Program Officer S.P. Darshan kicked off the program by saying, My youth calls for India to move towards the heights. Cultural in-charge officer V.P. Under the guidance of Patel, the students enthralled with unique colorful presentations like dance, music, speech and poetry recitation. A huge rally was taken out under the supervision of Red Cross Program Officer Mr. Yogendra Rathiya and the local police force. With enthusiastic slogans, cleanliness drive was conducted in colleges, bus stops, local banks, medical centers and intersections. It is noteworthy that the event was successful in capturing memorable moments. Assistant Professor Dr. Shweta Kumbhj, staff and principal of Jobi Balak Ashram including primary and higher secondary school, Azim Premji Foundation, Jobi and J.L.N. A large number of students were present at the degree college capacity.
