Thar wreaks havoc in Raipur, takes woman’s life
Raipur. Once in the city, Raftaar havoc took the life of a woman and injured an innocent child. According to the information received, this incident happened in the afternoon in Indraprastha Colony Phase-2 area of RDA. Four youths were going in Mahindra’s SUV Thar at a speed of 80-100 km on the colony road with a speed of 20-30 km. Due to the high speed, the young man driving lost control and hit the woman and her child traveling on the scooter.
People passing by surrounded the youth and informed the DD Nagar police. Police reached the spot and arrested Akash Das and confiscated the vehicle. His three other associates are said to be absconding. Meanwhile, the injured woman and son were taken to AIIMS for treatment. The woman died due to a deep injury on her head and the child’s leg was broken. He is out of danger. The woman’s name has been described as Kusumlata Dubey. J was taking her son home on scooty after vacation. Police is conducting medical examination of all four youths. This case has been described as drunk and drive. SUV Thar passing Odisha.
