Ganja smugglers’ base behind DKS hospital

Raipur. Behind DKS Hospital has become a den of ganja smugglers. Today again Golbazar police took action and arrested a smuggler. According to the information, the police received information from the informer that behind the DKS hospital located under Golbazar police station area, a person is trying to sell the intoxicant Ganja illegally. On this information, the senior officers were informed by the police station in-charge.

City Police Superintendent Kotwali Yogesh Sahu and Police Station Incharge Golbazar Inspector Yogesh Kumar Kashyap were directed to trace the accused and arrest him as soon as possible, on which, under the direction of senior officers, a Golbazar police team was prepared and the team members verified the information received from the informer. Raid proceeded to the spot for action where the accused Kunal Milid Gajgade, father Milid Gajgade, age 32 years, in front of Itwari Mirgi Bazar Masjid, Lakadganj police station, Lakadganj Nagpur (Maharashtra), was in possession of illegal drug Ganja, 1 kg 300 grams worth Rs 6,000/-. Crime number 22/2024, Section 20(B) NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and taken up for investigation.
