Tripura: Congress forms manifesto panel for Lok Sabha elections
The Congress party has stepped up its activities and political preparations in Tripura by unveiling its manifesto committee for the 2024 parliamentary elections.
The committee, led by party spokesperson Professor Manik Deb, will coordinate with senior leaders to finalize ten key focus areas for the party in preparation for the parliamentary elections. These recommendations are to be submitted to State Congress Committee President Ashish Kumar Saha by January 20.
The committee includes Manik Deb, Shanti Ranjan Debnath, Debranjan Chaudhary, Niranjan Das, Idris Mia, Sabsa Kumar Jamatia, Pritha Deb and spokesperson Prabir Chakraborty.
The Congress party in Tripura has been making important demands, including a judicial inquiry into the recruitments by the Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura (JRBT) in December 2023.
