Congress formed a committee to investigate the gang rape of a girl

Raipur. Taking seriously the incident of gang incest with a girl under Gunderdehi police station of Balod district, State Congress President Deepak Baij has constituted a five-member investigation committee under the leadership of former minister and MLA Anila Bhedia.

Doundilohara MLA Anila Bhedia is the convenor, Balod MLA Sangeeta Sinha, Gunderdehi MLA Kunwar Singh Nishad, DCC General Secretary Dheeraj Upadhyay, Gunderdehi Block President Bhojram Sahu are members of the investigation committee. The members of the investigation committee have been asked to visit the affected village without any delay, meet the local villagers including the victim and her family members, discuss with them, become aware of the actual situation of the incident and send their report to the State Congress Committee.
