During the reign of Akbar, Dulla Bhatti was the Sardar of Punjab province who was also known as the Hero of Punjab. In those days, girls were bought and sold in Sandalbar, Pakistan. Which Dulla Bhatti strongly opposed and saved the girls and gave them a new life by marrying them honorably. This victory of Dulla Bhatti is also remembered in the songs of Lohri and Dulla Bhatti is remembered.
