6 gamblers arrested for gambling in the village
Raigarh. Last evening, under the leadership of Lailunga police station in-charge Inspector Mohan Bhardwaj, the Lailunga police station in-charge went on patrolling for the proceedings of Minor Act and Motor Vehicle Act. Police received information about some persons gambling in a public place in village Naveen Kunjra, immediately upon receiving the information, the police station Gambling raid action was taken by the in-charge along with his team.
On the spot, two people were gambling on the gambling platform – (1) Samaru, father, Pancharam Mahant, age 43 years, Sakin (2) Jhasudas, father, Dashrath Das, Mahant, age 36 years, (3) Rajesh Banjara, father, Anand, age 23 years, (4) Krishna Das, father, Ganga Das Mahant. Age 45 years (5) Sanjeev Pradhan father Pyari Lal Pradhan age 32 years (6) Sanjay Srivas father Nehru Srivas age 26 years all residents of village Naveen Kunjara police station Lailunga district Raigarh were caught. ₹ 6,100 and 52 playing cards were seized from their possession. Action has been taken against the gamblers under Section 3 (2) of Chhattisgarh Gambling Prohibition Act in Lailunga police station. Police station in-charge Lailunga inspector Mohan Bhardwaj, head constable Bhenansius Khes, constable Bhupesh Rathiya, Mannu Khadiya were involved in the gambling raid proceedings.
