Appointment of MLCs: KT Rama Rao criticizes ‘biased attitude’ of Telangana Governor
Hyderabad: Taking exception to Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan approving the appointment of TJS president M Kodandaram as MLC, BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Friday alleged that she was acting in a “partisan” manner. “The Governor rejected the names of Dasoju Shravan and K Satyanarayana recommended by the BRS government for MLC posts under the Governor’s quota, saying they had political affiliations. But how did the Governor now clear the name of Kodandram, who is the president of a political party,” wondered Rama Rao.
“Did the Governor approve his appointment because of the ‘Fevicol’ bond between Congress and BJP?” He asked.
Meanwhile, former finance minister T Harish Rao said the Governor’s approval of Kodandram’s appointment proved that there is a secret pact between the BJP and the Congress.
“Is the Governor’s decision not in favor of the Congress?” He asked.
