Azad can fill political void in J&K: Yatoo
Nazir Yatoo, Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), general secretary for the Kashmir province, said that Ghulam Nabi Azad stands as the most suitable leader to address the political vacuum prevalent in Jammu and Kashmir.
Yatoo underlined Azad’s exceptional track record as a leader, citing his impactful tenure as the Chief Minister of the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir and his noteworthy contributions as the Union Health Minister. He asserted that Azad’s experience, dedication, and leadership qualities uniquely position him to navigate the complex challenges facing the region.
Nazir Yatoo lauded Azad as the prominent leader of Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing his ability to unite diverse voices and steer the region towards prosperity and stability.
Meanwhile, several political leaders and workers of BJP and Congress joined the Progressive Democratic Azad Party, in presence of Ghulam Nabi Azad under the leadership of Anil Kohli, vice president District Jammu (Urban) and expressed their faith in his leadership.
While addressing them after joining the party, Azad explained to them the main agenda of the party and said that DPAP is committed for overall development of the state, welfare for all and jobs for the unemployed.
R S Chib, general secretary (org) and other leaders of DPAP, welcomed the new entrants and Chib said that all those who are joining will be given due respect and responsibility. The new entrants also assured their full cooperation, in strengthening the Party at grass roots level.
Prominent among those who joined the party included- Dr Sudarshan, Sudhanshu Raina, Happy Sharma, Veer Kumar, Rajat Bhola, Akshay Verma, Kaka Verma and Rakesh Gupta.
