Dead body of a youth selling ice cream found on the road
Balodabazar. A person riding a bike died under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday night in Khapri and Saradih Road of Palari police station area of Balodabazar district. It is being told that the bike rider Hirmi had gone to sell ice cream and was returning to his village Palari via Saradih. During this time he became a victim of a road accident. The accident occurred on Wednesday night between 8 and 9 pm. The deceased has been identified as Bhuvan Tandon (45). Police have registered the case and started investigation. The police is trying to find out the real reason behind the accident by scanning the CCTV footage installed nearby.
According to family members, Bhuvan Tandon had left the house at 11 in the morning saying that he was going to Hirmi to sell ice cream. When he did not return home till late evening, his elder daughter Dhaneshwari Tandon called and talked to father Bhuvan at around 8 pm. When the daughter asked the father the time of coming home, the father Bhuvan said that he was going to leave from Hirmi and would reach Palari home by 9 o’clock. During this time, while returning home, the person met with an accident on the main road near Saradih and Khapri and died on the spot.
Bhuvan Tandon used to sell ice cream. Ice cream cans and the motorcycle were lying upside down at the spot. There was a lot of blood coming out from Bhuvan Tandon’s head, due to which it is being speculated that he may have died. The passersby present at the spot called the police and informed about the accident. Bhuvan Tandon was the sole earning person in the family. He used to support his entire family by selling ice cream. Bhuvan Tandon had the responsibility of his 5 daughters and wife. Due to Bhuvan’s death, his father’s shadow was lifted from the minds of his five daughters. The family members are in bad condition after the accident. The deceased’s elder daughter Dhaneshwari was also to get married this year.
