Samsung is all set to launch the Samsung Galaxy Ring this year and that might be alongside the release of Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 announcement event. The gadget was teased during the Unpacked event in January (when the Galaxy S24 series launched). There are rumors that the Samsung Galaxy Ring will be showcased at the MWC 2024.
Even though it is too early to comment on the device, it is alleged that the Samsung Galaxy Ring is still in the prototyping phase and the mass production will begin around April and June. We do not have much to tell about the Galaxy Ring but it is expected to offer features like ECG support, blood pressure measurement, NFC payments, and much more. The Samsung Galaxy Ring will be offered in different ring sizes and interested buyers can choose from the sizes.
Speaking about gadgets by Samsung, the company has recently launched the Galaxy Fit3 smartwatch.
In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 gets a larger 1.6″ AMOLED display. It is 45 percent bigger than what the older model used to offer. A single button is offered on the right-hand side of the smartwatch and the band gets a quick-release mechanism too. However, the band does not have a wireless charging mechanism and it gets charged with a propriety charger that uses two pogo pins at the base.
When it comes to the battery of the device, we get a 208 mAh battery onboard and that will last up to 13 days (claimed Samsung). The device does not offer any Wear OS but rather offers apps like Calender, Weather, World Clock ad well as sports tracking.
In India, the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 is priced at Rs 4999 and Rs 1000 more than the Galaxy Fit2. Users can get a cashback of Rs 500 from various banks and this brings down the price of the smartwatch to Rs 4499.
