Martand Singh reviews renovation works at Ranbireshwar Temple
The Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust (JKDT) has embarked on an expedited mission to restore and renovate the ancient Shri Ranbireshwar Temple and Rani Samadhis complex in Jammu city.
Both these sites are expected to witness a major facelift after the completion of restoration and beautification works.This was stated by Martand Singh, Trustee of J&K Dharmarth Trust after visiting the sites to oversee the progress firsthand. Ashok Sharma, Secretary of JKDT and Varinder Singh Jamwal, Additional Secretary JKDT, accompanied the Trustee. The Secretary briefed the Trustee about the ongoing works and current status.Emphasizing the need for timely completion, the Trustee directed for the ongoing works to be finished within a specified timeframe, while ensuring that the quality standards are diligently upheld.Martand Singh expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the restoration and renovation efforts at Shri Ranbireshwar Temple, Jammu. He directed that all the works should be completed before the upcoming Maha Shivratri festival to ensure the convenience of the devotees visiting the temple. He reiterated the Trust’s commitment to providing an enhanced spiritual experience for all.In addition, the Trustee highlighted the extensive repair and restoration taking place at the Rani Samadhi complex, stating it is being accorded top priority. At the complex, the individual Samadhis of the Royal Dogra Maharanis and Ranis, along with the adjoining Temple, are carefully undergoing repair, meticulously restoring their grandeur and architectural beauty.Martand Singh anticipated that the restoration and renovation endeavors will be completed shortly, bringing these cherished heritage sites back to their pristine glory.
