STF arrested two accused in Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment paper leak case
Lucknow: Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested two accused in the constable recruitment exam question paper leak case from a bridge near Shaheed Path in Lucknow. According to STF, two accused have been arrested in the case of leaking question paper in the written examination of constable recruitment held on 17th and 18th February of Uttar Pradesh Recruitment and Promotion Board. Both the arrested accused are residents of Prayagraj. The name of one is Ajay Chauhan and the other is Sonu Yadav. Ajay is a resident of Fazilpur of Phulpur police station area of Prayagraj. At the same time, Sonu Singh is a resident of Karonja village of Phulpur police station area of Prayagraj. Two mobile phones, Rs 1,970 in cash and 32 work documents were found with him. These people were arrested on March 1 from Kisan Bazaar, near Shaheed Path bridge.
During interrogation, accused Ajay Singh told that he has a gang, which does the work of cheating and installing solvers in competitive examinations. Sonu, Rajan Yadav, Sushil Bharti are in this gang.
He revealed that they charge huge amount from the candidates for providing them the papers before the examination, then after collecting the money, they get the examination papers through active gangs and make them available to the candidates. He told that he was hiding after the exam was cancelled.
