Police raid on hotel, dhaba and suspicious shops, 5 arrested

Raigarh. In order to curb crimes and road accidents, Superintendent of Police Divyang Kuma Patel has directed all the police stations and outpost in-charges to take action by running a special campaign regarding the complaint of illegal serving of liquor in hotels and dhabas along the highway. In the same sequence, on the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, under the leadership of trainee IPS and station in-charge Kharsia Akash Shrishrimal, a joint team of police station Chaal and Gharghoda was formed and raided hotels, dhabas and shops that appeared suspicious on the main road from Gharghoda to Chaal last night. In which illegal liquor has been seized as follows. Arrested accused-

(1) Ranjit Kumar Gupta father Late Mahesh Prasad Gupta 38 years resident Masjid Para Dharamjaygarh police station Dharamjaygarh district Raigarh

(2) Suphal Das Mahant Father Late Amatu Das Mahant Age 45 years Village Kudekela Majhapara Police Station Chaal District Raigarh

(3) Ghasiram Patel, father, late Jamadar Patel, age 54 years, resident of village Hati, police station Chaal, district Raigarh.

(4) Naveen Kumar Patel, father Ghasiram Patel, age 20 years, resident of Hati police station, Chaal district, Raigarh.

(5) Lakhan Lal Soni father Kanhaiya Soni age 27 years village Hati Sidarpara police station Chaal district Raigarh
