Political temperature rises in Bihar due to Lok Sabha elections, many seats will be under watch
Patna: The Election Commission is going to announce the dates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on March 16. Now the political temperature in the state has risen due to this election. During the Lok Sabha elections, the entire country keeps an eye on Bihar, because this state has been deciding the profit and loss in the political manipulations of the prospective government.
In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections also, all the parties will keep an eye on a total of 40 seats in Bihar. In the last Lok Sabha elections, voting was conducted in all seven phases in the state, hence this time also it is believed that voting can be held in all phases in the state.
In the last elections, NDA had achieved tremendous success by winning 39 out of 40 seats. In 2019, BJP had contested the elections under the alliance of JDU and LJP. Congress candidates could win only Kishanganj seat. Whereas, RJD’s account was not even opened.
NDA is ready to go into the electoral fray with the aim of winning 40 out of 40 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. At the same time, the opposition alliance has kept its team ready to give a tough fight.
Till now, be it NDA or the alliance of opposition parties, no one has announced seat sharing. However, all the parties are claiming that seat distribution will happen soon. Even though seat distribution and candidates have not been announced yet in both the alliances, people are still interested in many seats.
There is a tussle between the two factions of LJP regarding Hajipur seat in Bihar. Similarly, people are also keeping an eye on Buxar and Begusarai seats. In the last elections, senior BJP leaders Ashwini Choubey from Buxar and Giriraj Singh from Begusarai were victorious. The contest in Seemanchal is also expected to be interesting in this election.
Nityanand Rai is likely to contest elections once again from Ujiarpur seat. However, it is being said that BJP can field new faces in place of many old faces in this election. RJD is trying its best for this election.
RJD sources claim that RJD will field its candidate from the area where JDU candidates are from NDA side. AIMIM has announced to contest elections on 11 seats in the state. Whereas, Bahujan Samaj Party has announced to field candidates on all the seats. In such a situation, it is clear that all the parties are ready to enter the electoral fray for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and the contest will be interesting. However, the main contest is believed to be between the two alliances.
