Knife knifeman arrested from old colony, major police action under code of conduct

Raipur. On the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh and under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police West Daulat Ram Porte, Additional Superintendent of Police City Lakhan Lal Patle and the supervision of City Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dewangan, action is being taken against knife dealers and thieves to curb crimes. As part of the campaign, Purani Basti police station was successful in arresting a knifeman who was illegally possessing a knife.

The details are as follows that information was received from the informer that a boy named Adi Sahu was keeping a knife with him near Maharajbandh Pond. Immediately after reaching the spot of the incident, he caught hold of the accused and found the knife in his possession illegally. On asking the name and address of the accused, he gave his name and address. Name Aditya Kumar Sahu alias Adi Father Bhola Ram Sahu Age 21 years resident Nizamuddin Chowk Sanjay Nagar police station Tikrapara district Raipur Chhattisgarh Crime number 117/2024 Section 25 Arms Act was registered against the accused and arrested and sent to judicial custody.
