Two firefighters injured while extinguishing the fire, taken to hospital

Srinagar: Two firefighters were injured while trying to extinguish a fire in Srinagar city on Friday. The officers provided this information. Two firefighters, identified as Mudasir Ahmed and Robinder Singh, sustained burn injuries while trying to control the fire that broke out at some shops in the Bohri Kadal area of the old city, officials said.

“The injured firefighters were taken to hospital for treatment and the fire was brought under control,” an official said. He said that the exact cause of the fire is being ascertained.
