Trailer took away breath, 2 people died due to collision

Raigarh. A villager riding a bike died on the spot after being hit by a speeding trailer in the district, while his companion was seriously injured. The matter is of Chaal police station area. The police have registered a case and started investigation. According to the information, two bike-riding villagers, Nandlal Purohit (45) and Gajendra Rathiya (55), residents of Bangarsuta, were going to Munund village for some work. When the two villagers riding a bike reached between Munund and Kudekela villages, the trailer driver coming from the opposite side hit them hard.

Gajendra Rathiya died on the spot in the accident, while his friend Nandlal Purohit was seriously injured. On receiving the information, police reached the spot and sent Gajendra’s body for postmortem. Nandlal Purohit has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

As soon as information was received about the death of a villager in a road accident, a huge crowd of people gathered at the spot. People became angry due to the continuously increasing road accidents. The police calmed down the matter by convincing them.
