Teenager commits suicide by hanging, chaos in the family

Shravasti. On Friday evening, a teenager living in the Naveen Modern police station area committed suicide by hanging himself after being upset by his mother’s scolding. Police arrived on the information of family members and sent the body for post-mortem.

15-year-old Ashish Kumar, son of Brijesh Nishad, resident of Majra Fattupur of Dingurajot village under Naveen Modern police station area, had gone out of the house without informing on Friday. When he returned home in the afternoon, his mother scolded him about something.

After scolding, the mother went to Mathura market for medical treatment. The son was displeased with his mother’s scolding and he went to the thatched house, made a noose out of plastic rope, tied it to the roof and hanged himself. By the time his family came to know about it, he had died.

The police reached the spot after getting information and got the body taken down from the noose and sent for post-mortem. To support his family, Brijesh Nishad goes to another state and works as a laborer to support his family. After getting the news of his son’s death, he too is coming home from the state. The deceased has two younger brothers and two sisters. Ashish Kumar was the eldest boy among the siblings. The mother is fainting due to the death of her son and there is mourning in the entire locality.
