Jagan has no sympathy for backward classes: Andhra Pradesh BJP chief
Vijayawada: Attacking the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government, state BJP chief Daggubati Purandeshwari has said that a demonic rule is going on in the state and people from every section of the society are its victims.
Participating in the OBC Morcha state executive meeting here on Sunday, he accused Jagan of lying to deceive people whenever he says ‘no BC, no SC, no ST and no minority’. “This is just a rhetorical speech to him, and what he said never meant anything. Do we need a Chief Minister who has no sympathy for the backward classes?” he asked.
The state BJP chief reiterated that Jagan’s rule has put a debt burden of Rs 2 lakh on every person in Andhra Pradesh. “The YSRC government has mortgaged the property to raise loans. When asked the question, YSRC leaders retorted and said where is it written that government property cannot be mortgaged. How shameful,” she said.
He mocked Jagan for taking up liquor business by ignoring his election promise to implement complete prohibition in the state in a phased manner.
OBC Morcha state president R Gopi Srinivas was present.
