AP Minister Botcha demands NDA to clarify stand on VSP privatization

Visakhapatnam: Education Minister Botcha Satyanarayana on Sunday demanded the NDA to withdraw its proposal to privatize the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant before its leaders begin the election campaign in north Andhra.

Speaking to media persons on Sunday, he said that leaders of TDP, JSP and BJP have no right to visit the area without clarifying their stand on privatization of VSP.
Saying that the YSRC has given top priority to Backward Class (BC) leaders during seat allocation, he highlighted that the ruling party has given tickets to BCs on all the Lok Sabha seats in North Andhra. On the other hand, TDP has not allotted enough seats to these sections. NDA allies have also not ensured social justice in seat allocation,” he said.

Botcha quipped that TDP has returned to NDA only to get Z Plus security for Nara Lokesh. Accusing the Yellow Party of forming alliances to protect its leaders and not the broader interests of the state, he remarked, “Though I have worked as a minister for more years than Lokesh, my There is no such security.” ,
Moreover, he mocked the coalition partners for fielding leaders who are not from the region. Alleging that TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu and his leaders were preventing volunteers from carrying out their duties, Botcha questioned, “Who will hand over pensions to the elderly and the poor? Is it possible for them to open bank accounts now?”

Accusing the TDP of politicizing the delivery of schemes meant for the welfare of the poor, he said that though the DSC notification was issued before the announcement of the election schedule, the opposition party had filed a complaint with the Election Commission of India to stop it. Registered.
Stating that the government will follow the ECI instructions, he said the DSC exam will be conducted after the elections. Furthermore, he promised to inform the DSC every year.v
