Run a campaign to spread awareness about disabled voters

Punjab: The district administration organized a candle march here today to spread awareness about the participation of voters with disabilities in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The march started from the statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh on Heritage Street and passed through Dr BR Ambedkar Chowk and ended at Shaheed Madan Lal Dhingra Chowk.
District Social Security Officer Meena Devi has appealed to the disabled voters to exercise their constitutional rights during the Lok Sabha elections to be held on June 1.
A team of volunteers will also be deployed at all booths to provide necessary assistance to voters with disabilities during the voting process.
