Kochiya arrested with Mahua liquor

Raigarh. In order to take action against illegal liquor, today Bhupdevpur Police conducted a liquor raid in village Dongitarai on the information of informer. Police station in-charge Bhupdevpur Inspector Ramkinkar Yadav got information from the informer that Sanjay Chauhan of village Dongitarai secretly sells illegal liquor and even today he had gone to buy liquor.

The police station in-charge sent village Dongitarai staff for action, where Bhupdevpur police seized 8 liters of illegal Mahua liquor (worth ₹ 800) from the possession of accused Sanjay Chauhan, father Kartik Ram Chauhan, age 35 years, resident of Dongitarai police station, Bhupdevpur district, Raigarh. On the actions of the accused, Bhupdevpur police took action against the accused under Section 34(2), 59(a) of the Excise Act and sent the accused on judicial remand. Assistant Sub Inspector Balkrishna Dansena, Head Constable Surendra Singh Thakur, Constable Vijay Kumar Patel and Lady Constable Gauri Sidar were involved in the action.
