Summons to the Pandit who arranged the marriage of Seema-Sachin, hearing on 27th May
Greater Noida: On the petition filed by Pakistani husband Ghulam Haider of Pakistani woman Seema Haider, the Family Court of the District Court has issued summons to Seema Haider and Sachin Meena’s lawyer AP Singh and the Pandit who performed the wedding. The next hearing of the case will be on May 27.
A petition has been filed in the case on behalf of Momin Malik, lawyer of Seema Haider’s husband Ghulam Haider. Momin told that the marriage anniversary of Seema and Sachin Meena was recently celebrated, he has challenged this in the court. Those who participated in this program have also been made parties. Apart from the marriage of the two, the process of adoption of children, religious conversion etc. has also been challenged in the court.
According to lawyer Momin Malik, Seema will have to prove in the court when she converted. Apart from this, the religion of minor children cannot be changed in this way. Those who have been issued summons will have to appear in the court on the date of hearing.
On July 3, 2023, Seema Haider was arrested in Ballabhgarh, Haryana. She came to India via Nepal with Sachin Meena, a resident of Rabupura, Greater Noida.
