BJP’s manifesto based on ‘opinion’ of one crore people
Kakinada: State BJP president Daggubati Purandeshwari has claimed that the party has prepared its manifesto after taking opinions from around one crore people and “it will help the country develop faster.”
He told the media in Rajamahendravaram on Monday that the manifesto aims at a “prosperous India” and a “secure India” and focuses on 24 sectors and 10 key issues.
“The manifesto will make India the world’s third economic power and will give priority to women, youth, farmers and senior citizens. Will take the plans of the manifesto to the village level and explain them to the people. The BJP has the ability to implement the manifesto in the interests of the people,” she claimed.
Purandeshwari said the “Sankalp Patra” (manifesto) will promote 12 crore unorganized sector and small and medium traders and Scheduled Caste people living in hilly areas.
He said that welfare, ease of living, world class manufacturing, world class infrastructure, cultural development, satellite townships, good governance, technology development, stable India and other goals are being given priority in the manifesto.
He claimed that the BJP-led NDA government had already given priority to “Make in India” and now it gives priority to the manufacturing sector.
Speaking about the development of roads, he said that earlier 12 km to 23 km of roads were being built every day, but now 28 km to 30 km of roads are being built every day.
14 kilometers of railway track is being constructed every day and 80 crore people will continue to get free ration for the coming five years. Elderly people above 70 years of age will get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. He said that the BJP government will take several steps to curb cyber crime.
