Keeping in view the nature of the crime and all other circumstances, the judge punished the accused, 22-year-old Dhanjit Basor, resident of village Jolgi under Janakpur police station, with life imprisonment twice and a fine of Rs 500 each under section 302 of the IPC. If the fine amount is not deposited, the accused will have to undergo additional rigorous imprisonment for 2-2 years.
