Temperature crossed 40 degrees Celsius in the districts

Lucknow: On one hand the Meteorological Department is talking about change in the weather from May 5, while on the other hand in Uttar Pradesh, there is a possibility of increase in daytime mercury by two to five degrees in the next two-three days.

According to meteorologists of the Zonal Meteorological Center, while the decline in mercury continued on Thursday, a slight increase was recorded in the day temperature on Friday. The temperature in Lucknow increased from 35.6 degrees to 38.3 degrees. Whereas in most areas of the state the mercury which was below 40, once again crossed 40.

The mercury in Prayagraj was 40.4 degrees. Prayagraj was the hottest place for some time. The mercury had reached 38.4 degrees on Thursday. Similarly, in cities like Varanasi, Bahraich etc. the temperature was below 40, but on Friday it again increased
