IMD Issues Yellow Warning For Rain In Odisha For Five Days
Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar-based India Meteorological Department (IMD) today issued yellow warning for rain in Odisha for next five days.
According to the weather department, Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 KMPH very likely to occur for the next five days.

Day 1 (Valid upto 8.30 AM of 13.05.2024):
YELLOW WARNING: Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 KMPH very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj & also Heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Rayagada, Koraput, Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore and Bhadrak.
Day 2 (Valid from 8.30 AM of 13.05.2024 to 8.30 AM of 14.05.2024):
YELLOW WARNING: Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 KMPH very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati & also Heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Kendrapara, Jajpur and Bhadrak.
Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj,Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur and Malkangiri .

YELLOW WARNING: Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 KMPH very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati,Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar & also Heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada and Kandhamal.
