1,850 polling stations in Peddapalli section

Adilabad: Elaborate arrangements have been made for voting in Peddapalli Lok Sabha constituency reserved for Scheduled Castes. There are a total of 1,850 polling stations in the constituency and 221 of them have been identified as sensitive.

The Election Commission of India has announced that voting will be held from 7 am to 4 pm in Maoist-affected Manthani, Mancherial, Bellampalli and Chennur assembly constituencies, while in Maoist-affected Peddapalli, Ramagudanam and Dharmapuri assembly constituencies from 7 am to 6 pm. 10,216 polling personnel were deployed on election duty and 3,220 police personnel and five companies of central forces will be deployed to ensure free and fair elections.
