MLA gets big relief, acquitted in murder case
Patna: A Patna court on Tuesday acquitted RJD MLA Ritlal Yadav and other accused in the murder case of BJP leader Satyanarayan Sinha. The special court of MP-MLA of Patna Civil Court has acquitted Ritlal Yadav.
Ritlal Yadav’s advocate Rajiv Mishra said that a total of four people were made accused in the Satyanarayan Sinha murder case, in which Ritlal Yadav, Sunil Yadav, Shravan Yadav and Ranjan Yadav were made accused. All of them were acquitted by the court. On the orders of Patna High Court, this famous murder case was heard under speedy trial. It is noteworthy that BJP leader Satyanarayan Sinha, husband of former Danapur MLA Asha Sinha, was shot dead on April 30, 2003 near Jamaluddin Chowk of Danapur police station.
The name of Ritlal Yadav, who was very close to RJD President Lalu Yadav, had come up in this case. In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, RJD’s Ritlal Yadav defeated BJP’s Asha Sinha from Danapur seat.
