Food delivery boy commits suicide in Raipur, dead body found in hotel

Raipur. A young man has committed suicide by hanging himself in a hotel in the capital Raipur. The police found the youth’s body hanging in the hotel room. According to the information received from the police, the young man was under stress due to not getting married. It is suspected that he might have taken this step for this reason. This entire matter is of Azad Chowk police station area.

Azad Chowk police station in-charge Pramod Singh said that the deceased is Naveen Diwan (34), a resident of Brahmanpara. He booked a room on May 16 in a hotel in Awadhiya Para, near his home. The next morning, when the hotel staff did not see him, the door of the room was knocked. A call was also made. But no response came from the front. After which the door of the room was broken.

According to Singh, in this case, when the hotel staff broke the door and entered, the dead body of the young man was found hanging. After which he informed the police. Police reached the spot and sent the body to AIIMS for postmortem. However, the post mortem report has not come yet.

The family members of the deceased told the police that Naveen used to work in food delivery. Parents and elder brother live at home. Elder brother is married. Naveen was not married. Because of this he remained worried. It is suspected that he might have taken this step for this reason.
